Managed and instructed a team of 7 administrators in an Enterprise environment. Oversaw the daily monitoring and maintenance of Microsoft, Linux, and Cisco products supporting over 300 users. Certified in McAfee’s security suite I managed the overall security posture of a Special Forces network. Security suite included a (HIPS) host intrusion prevention system with host based firewalls. An asset baseline monitor to notify administrators of modifications to file system structures. Responding and investigating hits from the rogue system detection monitors. Updating policies utilizing the policy auditor to ensure full compliance of all systems. Security suite also included a virus scan module which deployed updated definitions to hosts and collected data on possible malware infections.
