Andressa Carmo

I have been passionately involved in developing bilingual education for the past 19 years. Throughout this journey, I have worked as a teacher, led large academic departments, and managed the International Education Centre of an education group for eight years. I currently serve as the Bilingual Coordinator in the Growth division at The Great Schools Platform, supporting schools, teachers, coordinators, and students across Brazil. I lead the implementation of bilingual and international education programmes and train professionals to thrive in new educational business models. I also work as a University Counselor, guiding students through international application processes and scholarship opportunities. As a Cambridge English Speaking Examiner, Guest Researcher, and Examinations Supervisor, I have built extensive experience in English language assessment and consultancy. I hold a Postgraduate Degree in English Language and a Postgraduate Degree in People and Business Management, as well as internationally recognised English proficiency certifications. I am also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, a Member of the Cambridge Better Learning Leadership Network, and part of the Experts with Cambridge community. I am driven by the belief that education has the power to deeply transform people and schools — and that embracing diversity and global perspectives is the key to meaningful learning.
