Responsible for supervision of all contractor activities for the new expansion phase of the Erhama bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard in the Port of Ras Laffan, comprising of all engineering, procurement, installation, construction and commissioning (EPIC).

* Assisted the project manager and design manager on technical, financial and project controls. Coordinated interfaces between design packages, stakeholders and client. * Coordination and managemetn of 20 Design Packages. * Ensuring that major design deliverables reflect design philosophies. * Ensuring that deliverables are in line with quality requirements, engineering plan, etc.

Construction Supervision of Marine Structures (Quays, Piers, Docks, Caisson Fabrication, Revetments, Dolphins, Travel Lift, Pontoons, Combined Pump-house etc.)

Design of Erhama bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard, Port of Ras Laffan for Nakilat Involved in the design of the Combined Pump House, Compressor Houses, Dock walls, Dock head control room and giving design assistance where required. Also doing cost control, responding TQ’s, contractor queries and management activities.

* Shoreham RNLI Lifeboat Station * Design Engineer * Assisting in the design of slipways, gangways, tipping cradle and civil works of the new station to suit the latest Tamar class lifeboat. * Turning Plate Fender Design * Design and construction supervision of a 32 tonnes turning plate fender to dissipate lateral and downward forces into the berthing structure caused by the cross-channel car ferry Cote d’Albatre’. * Newhaven River Wall Inspection * Responsible for carry out the inspection of the west river wall in Newhaven Port approximately 500m long to allow the measurement of repair works required to the river bank. A report was provided with guidance on suitable medium term repair methods. Inspection of multiple timber stages including recommendation on partially collapsed stage. * Shoreham Prince George Lock Outer Gate Replacement * Investigative report into failure of lock sector gate and design supervision for its replacement.
