Lecture a course in Financial Markets which covers the inner workings of Financial Markets, inherent risks faced by the financial sector and the major tools used to mitigate risk.

Trade foreign currencies in the local and international markets in an effort to increase market share and profitability. Responsible for managing relationships with local and overseas counterparties and for identifying possible trading opportunities and financing alternatives. Prepare management and other trading reports and analyses to Senior Management. Lead the development of junior traders and conduct training sessions throughout the Branch network and the organization.

Performed review of bank practices and records for compliance with established internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements covering financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with the generally accepted auditing principles, which include: branch operations,human resources, credit reviews, regulatory reporting, corporate and small business banking, operational risk, Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/ATF) and Know-Your Customer. Develop recommendations and reports to management for improving internal controls, operating efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Follow–up, validate and issue assurances on deficiencies raised from reviews of financial, operational, or regulatory compliance audits.

Responsible for the integrated risk management framework for all aspects of risk across the organization including the development of policies and the quantification of management’s risk appetite and to develop the analytical systems and data management capabilities to support the framework. Monitor the company’s investment management activities with a view to ensuring implementation of effective controls and compliance with the FSC. Administer, coordinate and monitor the Company’s Disaster Recovery Programme to ensure business continuity to minimize the company’s exposure to unforeseen events and to provide advice on risk retention/transfer as it relates to company assets and investments.

Enhanced and protected the NHT’s value through the implementation of a consistent Risk Management Framework into NHT’s Core Business Processes by identifying and quantifying risks, analysing these risks and for developing a risk response strategy, using an Enterprise-Risk-Management Approach. Assisted in establishing a risk management culture by providing risk management communications, training, and workshops to staff and management.  Instrumental in the development of risk management resource materials, the development of risk assessment models for financing programmes and executive training.

Assist Project Management Consultants with all aspects of project work including project planning, resource coordination, execution, monitoring and control. Write project proposals, prepare reports and presentations and offer support at client meetings. Assist with project bidding process as well as provide administrative support including billing, salaries and general office management.
