I founded Vanguard Law to advocate for employees and employers. We focus primarily on plaintiff-side employment matters standing up to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage & hour abuses - so clients can move forward with dignity and fair compensation. What I do • Lead strategy from intake through resolution: investigations, demand letters, filings, mediation, and litigation in court and before administrative bodies. • Negotiate severance, non-compete/non-solicit issues, and executive employment agreements. • Manage case selection, budgets, co-counsel, and experts; build streamlined, client-first processes for speed and clarity. • Handle class and individual matters; develop evidence, damages models, and settlement frameworks. • Educate clients on rights and options; maintain transparent, trauma-informed communication.

As a Student-at-Law, I am actively engaged in a comprehensive learning experience that covers various aspects of the legal profession. My responsibilities include: Filing and Service: Managing and organizing legal documents to ensure they are filed and served correctly and efficiently. Civil Litigation: Gaining exposure to the litigation process, including attending court proceedings and understanding procedural aspects. Solicitor Drafting: Assisting in the preparation of documents related to transactions and advisory matters, including contracts, and agreements. Family Law: Exploring issues related to family relationships, including divorce and child custody. Real Estate Law: Understanding the legal aspects of property transactions, including sales, leases, and mortgages. Criminal Defence: Assisting in the defence of individuals charged with criminal offences. Employment Law: Learning about the rights and obligations of employers and employees, including employment contracts, workplace disputes, and termination. Wills and Estates: Assisting in the preparation of wills, trusts, and estate planning documents, as well as navigating probate and estate administration processes. Legal Research: Conducting thorough research to support legal arguments and strategies, utilizing various legal databases and resources. Through this role, I am developing a solid foundation in legal principles and practices, enhancing my analytical and problem-solving skills, and gaining practical experience in a real-world legal environment.

Engaged in a dynamic and intensive virtual training program at TMU, designed to replicate the real-life environment of a practicing lawyer. This comprehensive program encompassed a diverse range of legal disciplines including administrative, business, civil litigation, criminal, family, real estate, and wills & estates law. Through simulated law practice, I gained hands-on experience in client counseling, case file management, and intricate trial advocacy. I also participated in specialized workshops, enhancing my skills in legal research and analysis, dispute resolution, and ethical decision-making. This program significantly developed my ability to tackle complex legal problems, manage client relationships, and apply innovative strategies in law and business, equipping me for various legal challenges ahead.

Established and cultivated relationships with multiple law firms, which directly supported key university events, enhancing institutional outreach and reputation. Managed and coordinated the academic year's social calendar, ensuring timely scheduling, effective communication, and maximized participation across events.
