• Manage an assigned book of business including handling general enquiries, reviewing policy documents, analyzing and preparing coverage comparisons and proposals for new business opportunities • Report Property, Liability and Motor Vehicle Accident claims to insurance companies and follow up with adjusters on the progress of the claim on a regular basis until declared closed • Assist Producers in assessing a risk and ensuring a client has the proper insurance in place • Ensure abeyances are properly attended to in a timely and efficient matter using Power Broker and Microsoft Outlook

• Gather and submit underwriting information to marketing for quotations • Analyze options offered by Insurers and prepare Direct and Premium Comparisons for client presentations • Prepare and review Insurance Binders • Prepare and approve Certificates of Insurance • Respond to client inquiries and address them in a timely, professional matter • Check and review policies and endorsements or other related documentation for accuracy • Invoice when required using The Agency Manager (TAM)

• Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance and liability cards • Record and maintain client files using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Process claims and maintain claim information for clients • Prepare new and renewed business proposals for clients and Producers • Assist in reviewing policies and endorsements for Account Managers

• Processed and documented claims decisions by arranging appointments with vendors, entering data into Unix AIX and z/OS systems as required and issuing payments • Completed and organized letters, forms and other materials relevant to individual claims • Trained new Claims Processors’ on issuing payments • Assisted in the creation and organization of an Accident Benefits Processor Training Manual Summer Student (2010, 2011, 2012)
