* Analyzing forecasts and their impact on purchasing activity. * Sourcing for potential suppliers, building and maintaining good relationships with them * Evaluating suppliers in terms of best price, delivery schedules and quality to meet the business requirements. * Negotiating and agreeing prices and contracts. * Purchasing materials according to the manufacturing orders and inventory figures. * Resolving problems of non conformance deliveries – what/why materials came in faulty. * Keeping constant communication with Production Planning Department, Customer Service Department, Quality Department and Financial Department.

* Establish and maintain relationships with companies in order to find out the current and future hiring and needs. * Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria – job description, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, newspapers and employee referrals. * Writing employment advertisements and post them on site. * Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. * Interview the candidates selected to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills. * Maintain the connection with the employer and present a shortlist with the most suitable candidates. * Attend conferences to disseminate information concerning possible job openings and career opportunities.

* Managing of procurement contracts * Elaboration and implementation of contract conditions in order to mitigate the commercial risk and obtain a high level of commitment from the contractual partner. * Participanting in supplier audits. * Implementation of important cost savings * Alternative suppliers sourcing and selection with the purpose of eliminating the cost generated by poor supplier quality. * Designing the frame for the supplier performance management project:proposal for supplier base segmentation and different levels of supplier evaluation by taking into consideration key attributes. * Daily work with RFQ' s, RFP' s and RFI.
