Andreas Tsouras

As a First Class graduate in Electronic Engineering, I am passionate about tackling complex challenges at the intersection of hardware and software. I was awarded the Dean's List award for academic excellence and the IET Prize 2025. My key skills include: AI/ML: Created a state-of-the-art AI "TimeSformer" model for non-invasive sleep analysis as part of my dissertation. I also have experience with computer vision models for semantic search and deep learning for IoT sensor analysis. FPGA Design: Developed a multi-digit calculator using a Xilinx Zynq-7000 board and deployed a CNN on a custom FPGA PCB for a computer vision rover application. Embedded Systems & PCB Design: Led the electronic design for a nationwide rover competition, creating PCBs and embedded software. I have also designed and built an IoT-enabled smart radio with a touchscreen and web interface. I have a proven ability to lead, having managed an 8-engineer team for the national UKSEDS Olympus Rover competition , and to collaborate effectively, contributing to a first-place finish in the UKSEDS Mach23 Rocketry Competition.
