ERU Admin delegate for the Population Movement Operation in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh

Program Officer for Canadian Red Cross programming in emergency contexts and protracted crises (including the Population Movement Operation in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh and an epidemic preparedness and response project in Somaliland).

Worked with volunteers from all areas of the world to manage correspondence, complete paperwork, arrange transportation to Santa Elena from Caracas, match them with appropriate programmatic areas, and onboard. Created orientation manuals for each area of program delivery, along with detailed material lists and procedures to help with volunteer transitions. Worked with the Executive Director of the Foundation to learn about financial procedures and organizational management on an international scope.

Manage the daily operations of the office of the Provincial Director for Alberta. Includes managing the calendar and scheduling meetings, writing correspondence, preparing briefing notes and presentations, finance and expense claims, conducting research, and assisting members of the Provincial Leadership Team.

Summer position with the Canadian Red Cross Society to work with the Calgary Fund Development team on special projects (Stampede Breakfast, Walmart Summer Campaign) and community fundraising.

Coordinator for Canadian Red Cross international humanitarian and development projects in South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, and the Caribbean.

* Assist the AB Provincial Director and Leadership/Management Team, including office administration. * Supervision of small team of administration and reception staff. * Finance and Budget Oversight * Completing some accounts payable (purchase orders and payment authorizations). * Established monthly meetings with managers to discuss budget reports (PTBs) and budget projections/forecasting for the province. * Point person for company purchasing cards in Alberta. * Provincial Fleet Management * Human Resource Support * Supporting the new hire process by completing (or ensuring the accurate completion of) paperwork such as authorization form, coding forms, job postings, job descriptions, facilitating letters of offer, and ensuring appropriate onboarding.

Substantially involved in international development coordination from program and project design through implementation, assisting in the financial allocation, delegate deployments and information support. Worked closely with the Emergency and Recovery Team to support the monitoring of disaster events and the coordination, design and implementation of multilateral and bilateral relief and recovery support.

Supports the management of Canadian Red Cross international development activities in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Substantially involved in international development coordination from program and project design through implementation. Supports project monitoring, reporting, budgeting, and financial management.
