Senior Systems Engineer/Technical Lead from contract negotiations through lifecycle of the spacecraft (launch and operations included): lead engineer, customer technical interface, responsible of system definition and configuration, requirements owner and responsible of verification, work with project manager to define and execute the project plan - Technical lead on SSTL S1-4 mission (currently launched) from post CDR till Flight Readiness; - Technical lead and Operator on Remove Debris mission (launched and nominal mission performed) from System End to End testing through Flight Readiness, operation preparation, launch and commissioning activities, nominal mission till end of life; - Technical lead of Lunar Pathfinder mission definition (mission around the Moon); Support provided in: DMC3 mission, Formosat 7 (COSMIC-2), system reviewer in other projects.

Architectural design with UML of on board autonomous functions for FDIR and mission management of satellites in the frame of the ASSERT project (Automated proof based System and Software Engineering for Real-Time Applications)

* Project/technical management, technical bid management, direct interaction with costumer, coordination of other engineers/subcontractors: * Project and technical manager of the team developing the mission simulator for DEIMOS-2 satellite, in collaboration with the System and Mission Planning Teams * testing and benchmarking the DEIMOS-2 on-board AOCS * Technical manager in the GNC design and development of asteroid impactor mission (NEOSHIELD, FP7 project). * Technical management in the design, development and simulation of functional and real-time GNC algorithms (AEROFAST Mars pre-aerocapture, FP7 project) * Involved in several projects, among them: * European Space Agency (ESA): e.g. AODER (Mars sample return relative navigation), PROBAIP (phase A study, GNC subsystem design) * SATFDI (failure detection simulation), IXV (modeling and simulation) * Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia Aerospacial (INTA): MICROSAT (AOCS simulation) * Internal projects: e.g. DEIMOS-1, (AOCS simulation, on-ground attitude determination).

Continuation of the work performed during the former internship in the frame of the ASSERT project: responsible of the implementation and functional simulation (Simulink) of the failure management function. Use of expert systems algorithms. Collaboration with Thales Alenia Space.

* AOCS System Engineer (AOCS Architect) for the phase C/D/E of Solar Orbiter (SOLO): * Prime System Engineering in AOCS subsystem, coordination of engineering teams/subcontractors, schedule management * System/AOCS/OPS-FDIR/SW assumptions for the AOCS design, AOCS detailed design, AOCS Subsystem and Space Segment Requirement Specification * System budgets, system engineering among AOCS and payload, mechanical, propulsion areas * AOCS Test Specification for Functional and Electrical Test Benches, Functional Verification (FV) * Reviewer in project and lower tier milestones, in several project areas * Support in Software and Hardware Procurement.
