About

I am currently devoted to advancing AI policies in the Culture Sector at UNESCO, working to foster systemic approaches and international cooperation that enable inclusive, diverse and human-centred AI ecosystems. My focus is on leveraging AI’s opportunities for creative expression and cultural heritage protection, while promoting sovereign, rights-based frameworks that uphold cultural diversity and equitable participation. With a PhD in Higher Education from University College London, I have over 20 years of experience researching, managing and designing public policies in higher education and innovation across Latin America and Europe. My work bridges policy, research and practice, focusing on how education and innovation systems can cultivate creative abilities, socio-emotional skills and interdisciplinary collaboration to build more creative, fair and sustainable societies. Languages: Spanish (native), English (fluent), French (intermediate).
