I led the establishment of a joint unit for technology transfer at the School of Engineering and DICTUC. I drafted a successful proposal funded by the UK Newton Fund for technology valorisation upskilling.

Responsible for the design, launch and implementation of an innovation unit at the UC School of Engineering. We developed multiple initiatives to promote the valorisation of research results, education and training IN and FOR innovation, co-curricular entrepreneurship opportunities and university-industry partnerships. I coordinated the design and successful funding application for the strategic development project “New Engineering 2030”, ranked 1st in the national competition. I coordinated the design of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program and managed the MIT-UC MISTI program for the School. With and for students, our team created initiatives such as Demodays and an innovation fund. I also served as national coordinator of the project “Linkages between universities and their environment for sustainable social and economic development (VINCULAENTORNO)”, funded by the EU ALFA Programme.

I coordinated and conducted research on the relationship between labour competencies’ certification and productivity in a joint project with the World Bank and the National Council of Innovation for Competitiveness of Chile. I designed a successful proposal for a pilot qualification framework in a 110.000-students technical training institution. I drafted the report “Diversification on post-secondary education to expand access and improve relevance: the Chilean case”.

Analysis and implementation of financial student aid and competency-based curricular reform policies. • Assessment of universities’ information delivery for public scholarships • Analysis of priority areas for post-secondary technical education scholarship • Facilitation of the Ministry of Education and National Armed Forces Working Group • Drafting of accountability reports and aide-memoires for the World Bank (institution that co-finances MECESUP Program) and the Ministry of Finance. • Operational management of the Tuning Latin America Project Chilean Center • Coordination of teams to design and construct impact indicators for MECESUP Program and to monitor curriculum reform in beneficiary institutions
