Macquarie is a global leader in commodities finance & derivatives with a pioneering role in supporting the Brazilian market with custom OTC risk management solutions. My work involves covering a diverse universe of clients while originating new business in traditional and non-traditional commodities markets. I have successfully expanded our client platform and developed new products & solutions that became important new businesses to Macquarie's franchise in Brazil.

The dual sales role covering LatAm commodities and Brazil corporate derivatives & deliverable FX provides an exceptional perspective to our client's hedging demands. Skilled in vanilla & exotic OTC derivatives offerings across a wide range of asset classes, I work with a very diverse client universe to help them with their daily risk management and deliverable FX execution. Became a house expert in JPMorgan Brazil's onshore commodities derivatives offering, driving the development of the onshore commodities platform alongside a large and diverse team of professionals from different areas within the Bank.

Worked in the credit team covering Brazilian corporates in the energy and commodities industry. My main responsibilities included drafting credit papers, conducting periodic credit reviews and establishing internal ratings to clients. I worked closely with sales and relationship managers and strived to become a point person in credit whenever new limit/lines were demanded. I would eventually introduce and defend clients in front of the Bank's credit committees. My experience as a credit analyst provided me with fluency in credit analysis and in-depth knowledge of the energy & commodities sector in Brazil - skills that became invaluable as I progressed my career in sales & trading.
