* Assist the grant Project Director with the administration of the Emergency Management in Higher Education grant project * ensure compliance with federal documentation and filing requirements * maintain databases * prepare project reports for submission to the U.S. Department of Education * monitor budgets and financial records * coordinate planning of training programs, travel, conferences and meetings.

* Develop 3-year budgets and quarterly forecasts for operations portfolio, utilizing both historical data and information collected from meetings with business partners * Monitor department budgets to identify and resolve variances in budgets vs. actuals * Perform analysis of base pay and overtime compensation expenses, and provide suggestions regarding employee rosters * Conduct revenue analysis for new initiatives * Develop budget and forecast reports in MS Excel, Business Objects and Tableau * Provide reports to business partners, including Executive Director of Operations * Prepare operating statements for the portfolio and distribute to FP&A.

* Develop budgets and quarterly forecast for Public and Environmental Safety department * Improve tracking for the department’s cost centers and accounts * Create journal entries for intercompany expense allocations * Create requisitions and track purchase orders in PeopleSoft Financials * Provide project coordination for new initiatives, such as Video Security on Campus and Tufts Threat Assessment and Management * Oversee project collaboration with both other departments at Tufts and external vendors.
