1. Project Planning & Coordination Plan and organize all surveying activities for road and infrastructure projects. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to ensure survey works are carried out as per design and construction requirements. Prepare survey methodologies, work schedules, and resource allocation plans. 2. Survey Execution Supervise and execute topographic, alignment, and level surveys for roads, utilities, and drainage systems. Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and reference lines across project areas. Verify design coordinates and elevations prior to and during construction to ensure accuracy. 3. Quality Control & Verification Review and validate survey data to ensure compliance with project specifications and Ashghal/MOTC standards. Check and approve as-built survey drawings before submission to the consultant/client. Ensure all setting-out works meet design tolerances and project requirements. 4. Team Management Lead and supervise a team of surveyors and survey assistants. Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance to ensure work quality and efficiency. 5. Data Management & Reporting Maintain accurate records of survey data, control logs, and instrument calibration certificates. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly survey progress reports. Coordinate with design, QA/QC, and construction teams for updated information and documentation. 6. Equipment & Safety Ensure all surveying instruments are properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition. Establish control points, benchmarks, and reference lines for all site activities. Verify coordinates and elevations before and after construction to ensure design accuracy. 3. Quality Control & Verification Review survey data and ensure compliance with project specifications and authority standards (Ashghal, MOTC, etc.). Prepare and check as-built drawings prior to submission. Ensure precision and reliability in all setting-out and verification works. 4. Team Management Lead a team of surveyors and assistants, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance. Conduct on-site training to maintain high-quality standards and accuracy. 5. Data Management & Reporting Maintain complete and accurate survey records, control logs, and calibration reports. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly survey progress reports. Coordinate with the design and QA/QC departments for project documentation. 6. Equipment & Safety Ensure all surveying instruments are regularly calibrated and well maintained. Promote and follow safety procedures during all field activities.
