Identify sourcing opportunities by analyzing spend data, market changes, best practices, changes to vendor capabilities and technological advancement/ improvements, to derive cost efficiencies and enhance reliability of service providers. Utilize knowledge of category management to select categories with highest impact on organization’s costs. Develop, plan, organize & implement efficient contracting and procurement strategies to increase operational efficiency and profitability. Develop standardized systems and controls for procurement including RFP documentation, work authorization, purchase and change order systems, and supplier/contractor eligibility criteria, to enhance overall efficiencies and performance levels, along with adherening to organizational plans and required standards. Lead the entire sourcing process including bidding process, supplier selection, commercial negotiation and contract execution to minimize risks, maximize value in terms of quality, delivery and total cost of ownership, and adherence to expected internal service levels. Optimize sourcing procedures and ensure optimum efficiencies while partnering with reliable vendors and suppliers. Analyze and perform decision making using financial concepts (including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Cost- Benefit analysis and supplier’s financial stability / risk) to maximize profitability and minimize risk to the organization. Develop supplier management program with key suppliers including metrics, performance goals and improvement initiatives, to ensure service delivery as per agreed standards, and on-time resolution of issues. Analyze industry trends & evolving technologies to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities. Manage the supplier/contractor due diligence process including review of requisite experience, legal and organizational structure, financial strength, geographic coverage, insurance requirement.

Executing the Contract & Procurement activities of all goods and services needed for the operations among Egypt, Algeria & Kuwait branches. Executing the Logistics activities of all goods and services needed for the operations among Egypt & Kuwait branches. Responsible of stock movement data (In /out/Transfers/ Returns) to order the exact right quantities when reach to the minimum level. Create Item classification reports based on the turnover ratio of each material. Develop with the operations team, a short-term material procurement forecast. Assess supplier capabilities. Survey all equipment capacity and maintenance schedules of assets to get the right procurement forecast. Create a competitiveness list to continuously evaluate whether the company is receiving materials at the best possible price in order to maximize profitability & investigate the possibility of procuring cheaper materials from alternative sources through market trend monitoring. Keep vendor performance records. Responsible of coordination with Operations & Supply Chain team to determine the best possible times for issuing Purchase Orders, avoid Warehouse over packing & set a safety stock limits.

Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking account of the perishable or hazardous nature of the goods, cost, transit time and security; Arranging appropriate packing, taking account of climate, terrain, weight, nature of goods and cost, and the delivery and warehousing of goods at their final destination; Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs; Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations and fiscal regimes; Offering consolidation services by air, sea and road, ensuring cost-effective and secure solutions to small shippers who have insufficient cargo to require their own dedicated units; Arranging insurance and assisting the client in the event of a claim; Offering tailored IT solutions and electronic data interchange (EDI) connections; Arranging payment of freight and other charges or collection of payment on behalf of the client; Utilizing e-commerce, internet technology and satellite systems to enable real-time tracking of goods; Arranging air transport for urgent and high-value freight and managing the risk door to door; Acting as broker in customs negotiations worldwide to guide the freight efficiently through complex procedures; Dealing with special arrangements for transporting delicate cargoes, such as livestock, food and medical supplies; Arranging courier and specialist hand-carry services; Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports and statistical and unit cost analysis; Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight.

The role activities are on Contract and Procurement Management to execute the Drilling Campaigns (such as , Onshore Rigs, Cementing and Bulk Plant, Electric Wireline Logging (EWL), Mud Logging, Directional Drilling (DD), LWD/MWD, Formation While Drilling (FWD), OCTG, Tubing Perforating, Tubing Handling, Trees & Wellheads, CSG&TBG. Leading the contract awarding processes, by receiving from the User Department the Purchase Requisition for Services / Materials (MSR) and the entire relevant bid's documentation (technical, commercial and HSE specifications), arranging the invitation to tender, and receiving technical evaluation, executing the contractual and commercial evaluation. This besides Due Diligence Process and manages the Bid Addendums and its clarifications. Negotiate (with the selected Supplier) prices, Terms and Conditions, prepare the contract documentation and award recommendation for the management approval. Ensure that the procurement is performed in accordance with the applicable laws, procedures, local content requirements and Coordinate with Legal, Finance, HSE and End Users for all relevant contractual aspects. Ensure the necessary support to the User Department by interfacing with the Suppliers for clarification during the bidding phase and after the awarding. Ensure Contracts distribution to the interested parties. Support the End Users in the execution of Contract. Fulfillment the Logistic requirements such as Shipping, Inland trucking, Warehousing and Stock Control. Handling the Procurement process including Contracts in the Database System such as SAP & GPS. Very good knowledge and Capability to handle complex Tenders such as Drilling campaigns and EPC Projects. Vendors Management including registration process and Due Diligence Card for each Vendor, due diligence determines the investigating process adopted to analyze the value and the economic position of companies or its branch for which mergers, investments, acquisitions are expected.

Preparation of ITT/ITB documentation which includes the Scope of Work, Terms & Conditions, Evaluation Criteria for bids evaluation and the Contract Strategy. Commercial & Contractual Evaluation & Negotiation. Ensure that the procurement is performed in accordance with the applicable laws, procedures, local content requirements and Coordinate with Legal, Finance, HSE and End Users for all relevant contractual aspects. Ensure the necessary support to the User Department by interfacing with the Suppliers for clarification during the bidding phase and after the awarding. Support the End Users in the execution of Contract. Arrange the corresponding contract information for audits. Handling the Procurement process including Contracts in SAP system.

Fulfillment of the Procurement process for Drilling, Production, Maintenance and Geosciences departments to execute contracts for Services & Materials (Upstream Projects). Fulfillment the Logistic requirements such as Shipping, Inland trucking, Warehousing and Stock Control. Foreign purchasing, Inquiries, Fast tenders and Call for general tenders issuing, Drilling materials coordinator, Stock control documentation system, Responsible of the loading & offloading different materials and equipment for onshore rig, Materials inventory in the pipe yard, container stores and cold rooms, this beside completion of material requisitions considering the Min. /Max. Levels, Responsible of all drilling materials transfer to and from drilling rig, Responsible of all personnel shifts, drilling crews and public relations in all oil field affairs.
