* Joined Video Adapters team in Honeywell Video Surveillance Security group and was given a free hand to * test and report the hardware and software products to be used by LOCOG, UK during Olympics. The * regression testing of the demo setup helped surface issues which considerably made the products more * robust and reliable before they were deployed. * Managed and worked on Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) adapter implementation and quickly * became a key person for this adapter. This constantly kept me in touch with global stakeholders across * continents. * Developed H.264 video codec module from scratch according to the respective specifications. This was a * new feature and enabled the product to handle high quality videos, thus adding value to existing product. * Improved JPEG image processing module in the main software which made it compatible with at least 2 more * camera suppliers.
