About
With over 20 years of experience in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Social Development sector, I have held key roles across various organizations, driving strategic initiatives to achieving meaningful social development. I am currently part of the CSR team at Citibank, where my responsibilities include developing CSR partnerships, overseeing governance, and managing the monitoring and evaluation of CSR investments. Previously, at Standard Chartered Bank, I was a crucial member of the CSR team, where I managed grants, ensured governance, and oversaw the monitoring and evaluation of the 2% CSR portfolio. As Project Head at Kotak Education Foundation, I provided strategic direction to ongoing projects and identified new areas for social investment. I also served as Director at the Heroes Project (Godrej) and was instrumental in establishing the CSR wing at ASK Group, a leading financial services company. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education Management from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai. Additionally, I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute, USA. My core expertise includes managing large-scale initiatives, providing strategic direction, ensuring governance, grant management, fostering employee volunteering, program monitoring and evaluation, and building collaborative partnerships with NGOs. I have also volunteered with the Project Management Institute’s Mumbai Chapter, where I trained mid and senior management professionals from NGOs to become more effective project managers.
