Many language teachers love teaching but feel exhausted, over-responsible, and worn down by everything around the classroom. The admin, emotional labour, constant availability, and pressure to “do more” slowly drain energy, confidence, and joy even for experienced, capable teachers. I work with language teachers who want a calmer, more sustainable way of teaching without burning out or carrying everything alone. I’m a teacher trainer and wellbeing coach, with almost two decades of experience in ELT and adult education. I support teachers through 1:1 coaching and practical workshops, focused on long-term change rather than quick fixes. I run a small online teaching business. We specialize in offering lessons that are tailored to the needs of the learner. This means each prospective student needs to first complete a diagnostic test, a detailed needs analysis, and go through an interview with a teacher. This is when we create a plan that best fits the learner. We use a range of materials to achieve the set plan, and the learner usually has to do a fair amount of work outside the classroom - a so called flipped learning approach. This is why we try to help individuals understand what type of learners they are and how to stay motivated to continue with their studies until they reach their goals.
