Ana-Maria Stancu

I help people — teachers, parents, SMEs, and public institutions — understand and use artificial intelligence in a responsible, ethical, and human-centred way. I am the CEO of Bucharest Robots and the founder of RoboHub, a centre of excellence in AI and robotics where we train teachers, children, parents, NGOs, and vulnerable communities, including people with disabilities. I strongly believe in one core principle: AI must be explained in a language people understand. For over 10 years, I have worked at the intersection of technology, education, and public policy — from robotics and AI projects in schools to digital transformation initiatives for SMEs and advisory work for local authorities. I speak and write about AI literacy, ethics, and responsibility, and about how AI can be used as an ally in education, business, and public administration. I am actively involved in the European innovation ecosystem as a Board Member of euRobotics, representing Romania in discussions on the future of robotics and AI. I believe AI should be accessible to everyone. That is why I develop inclusive programmes, practical courses, and initiatives that bring technology closer to people — not the other way around.
