During a 10-week placement at an American summer camp, I worked as a horse-riding instructor, delivering both practical and theory-based equestrian lessons to campers aged 7–15. I collaborated closely with fellow staff to ensure the safe and effective running of the riding programme, adapting teaching methods to suit all levels of learners. In addition to my instructional role, I was responsible for a cabin of children, overseeing their daily well-being, maintaining detailed records of their activities, meals, and any medications administered, and ensuring they had a positive and memorable camp experience.

As Deputy Head Girl at a 30-horse livery yard in Kent, I played a key role in the daily running of the yard, working closely with a small team to complete essential duties such as mucking out, feeding, and exercising a range of horses and ponies. I ensured tasks were carried out efficiently and within strict timeframes, maintaining high standards of care and organisation.

Delivered excellent customer service across the equestrian, pet, and garden departments, assisting with product selection and purchases. Supported visual merchandising by creating attractive window displays and ensured stock was correctly stored and presented.
