I have been given the opportunity to work part time, "outside the box", teaching children from multiple academic levels the joys of reading and writing. Having the freedom to approach reading and writing from a standpoint of fun and games allows me to draw students in and show them that learning does not have to be mind-numbing and all about testing. Showing students the world through books is almost as good as taking them on a world-wide field trip…all expenses paid.
