After my father had a heart attack and stroke, I took time off of my career to help take care of him and also my daughter. During these past few years I have participated in many volunteer and outreach programs through the school and the community, including developing the Giving Heart Challenge which inspires random acts of kindness to others. Now that my daughter is in kindergarten I’m ready to find a career in which I can use my management skills to provide success in an organization and develop a team of talented individuals.

I was recruited by Best Buy and was hired in as a stacked manager for the Des Moines market. My focuses included creating a great sales culture, recruiting, training, and developing a sales team, and improving the overall customer service experience. In the short time that I was there I was able to achieve great results including improving our overall NPS score from a 56 to 92%. We also achieved 110% over sales our sales goal.

In my 7 years with Target I ran 3 stores ranging in volume from $20 million to $46 million. Some of my top accomplishments there include promoting several individuals into leadership positions, obtaining some of the top group results for both operational and customer service scores, and having a 97% upward feedback on my leadership style from my team.

I started with Thrifty Car Rental as a customer service manager right out of college. As a manager, I was able to double our city yield by training and motivating my sales team. I was then promoted to a marketing manager for our airport parking location and was able to generate 150% growth in our numbers though the use of an internet marketing strategy.

Worked full time through college to support myself while obtaining a double major in marketing and management in just 4 years.
