I am a registered nurse interested in promoting healthy lifestyles and health awareness to help people know where to begin and what to do to improve their health. I currently work as an independent contractor going to different businesses providing wellness screenings. During the screenings, I look at blood pressure, height, weight, BMI, cholesterol, glucose, and more. I educate the participants on the meaning of their results and what they can do to improve or maintain their health. I also provide annual flu vaccinations, administering and educating about the vaccine. I want to work to help people to take the steps to be aware and take control of their own health.
