Amy Chan

As the Chief Administrative Officer of The Health Trust, Amy Chan oversees the organization’s $125+ million investment portfolio and $20 million annual budget, along with managing human resources, facilities, and IT departments. A transplant from New York City, Amy graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. Amy began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers before transitioning to financial roles at JPMorgan Chase and Colgate-Palmolive. Prior to joining The Health Trust, she served as the Chief Financial Officer of Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI). In her six years at The Health Trust, Amy has: - Established and enhanced the infrastructure to facilitate a smooth transition to a work-from-home model during the COVID-19 pandemic. - Led the development and implementation of new organizational protocols to ensure the safety of clients and staff. - Restructured the financial framework to provide a clear understanding of the full costs involved in delivering specific direct services. - Directed the organization-wide adoption of Salesforce CRM to improve and standardize data collection and reporting metrics. - Achieved five consecutive unqualified financial audits. - Educated mid-level management on fiscal responsibility and effective monitoring of programmatic grants. - Directed the improvement and optimization of overall staff compensation. Amy’s leadership in technology adoption and process streamlining ensures that The Health Trust remains on solid footing to continue its mission of building health equity in Silicon Valley.
