* acute care setting, 10 weeks * Evaluated patient’s strength, range of motion, ability to transfer, and ability to ambulate safely on the general medical floors, intensive care unit, emergency department, and joint replacement unit. * Presented an in-service titled “The effects of immobility and bedrest.” * Observed total hip and knee replacement surgeries. * Participated in interdisciplinary team meetings and co-treatment sessions with nursing and occupational therapy.
