China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA): is a non-governmental charitable organization based in Beijing and registered with the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs in 1989. In China, CFPA's work focuses on four main areas, namely health, education, rural development and disaster relief. By the end of 2017, CFPA had raised RMB 34.09 billion in funds and materials for poverty alleviation, benefiting 33 million people. Internationally, we have carried out humanitarian relief and poverty alleviation work in 20 countries and regions, with a cumulative investment of US$20 million in cash and materials, benefiting more than 400,000 people. Currently, CFPA has implemented long-term projects in Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda, Myanmar and Nepal, and the Myanmar and Nepal offices have been officially registered.
