I used an in vivo modelling system to understand human TALPID3 patient mutations and the cause of the ciliopathy phenotype seen in these patients. Optimised the design of a new imaging platform for the purpose of testing new insecticide product compounds. Responsible for training staff to complete testing of compounds using this platform. Completed COSHH risk assessment forms for compounds tested to ensure minimal risk to team members.

Analysed PMA and EphA4 mice models to determine components of the suggested Clubfoot-causing pathway. In vivo testing in chick to show that upregulation of a specific gene is causing the nerve defect seen in a small subset of Clubfoot patients.
