My time at The Lost Colony included many different duties from day to day. During the initial rehearsal period I served as a stitcher helping to alter previously existing period costumes and to construct new costume pieces and accessories. Once the show opened I helped to maintain and clean the costumes during daily work calls and served as the male principal dresser during the run of the main show. For one of the secondary weekly children's shows, The Queen's Fairy Quest, I consulted on the design of the costumes and also served as the wardrobe supervisor. These duties included dressing the actor playing Queen Elizabeth as well as getting her into wig and makeup, and also taking care of laundry for that production. For the secondary musical of the summer, The Wizard of Oz, I served as a stitcher as well as the wardrobe co-supervisor. Once the show opened, myself and another of the costume staff were completely responsible for the cleaning, repair, and maintenance of the costumes, as well as quick changes during the performances.

My experience as a box office associate included daytime hours taking email, phone, and walk-up ticket orders and organizing those orders. It also included pre-show work selling and distributing tickets through the ticketing system Vendini, as well as helping patrons to their seats and helping to manage volunteer ushers. I also served as House Manager for Winthrop's production of You Can't Take It With You.

Beginning my 2nd semester at Winthrop I worked in the costume shop helping to construct all mainstage department productions as well as helping new costuming students learn basic sewing skills. My experience in construction ranged from period pieces such as Oklahoma! to modern works as well as dance showcases. During my time in Atlanta I worked on the three repertory productions produced by Georgia Shakespeare: The Tempest, Antony and Cleopatra, and The Jungle Book. As the wardrobe assistant for The Tempest and Antony and Cleopatra my duties included minor repairs as needed, organization of costumes, creation of paperwork, laundry and cleaning, and serving as a dresser during the performances. On Antony and Cleopatra in particular I was the personal dresser for Tess Malis Kincaid who played Cleopatra. For the children's production, The Jungle Book, I was the Wardrobe Supervisor. This included organization of costumes, creation of paperwork, unlocking of costume facilities before the show, presetting and running all costume changes, laundry and maintenance of all costumes, as well as providing any communication needed to the costume designer.
