In my therapy practice I work with clients to help them embrace their personal story and live their lives in a way that is fulfilling and connected to their personal values. I spent one year in a post-graduate residency program in which I was extensively trained in Mindfulness based cognitive behavioral interventions including DBT and ACT. I am also a trained EMDR therapist and can help clients who are dealing with current and past traumas. I believe in helping my clients develop increased awareness and acceptance of who they are while also identifying behavioral or emotional patterns that keep them stuck. I have a down to earth and compassionate style and work with clients to help them identify their innate strengths. I have over 8 years of experience working with pre-adolescent/adolescent girls and 5 years working with male and female adults helping them to increase their emotional, psychological, and physical health as well as improve communication and relationship skills, decrease stress and emotional reactivity, and identify barriers.

Provide brief counseling to ASU employees and their families

Provided behavioral health counseling to youth and their families.

Provide short-term counseling and assessment services for ASU faculty and staff, their spouses and dependents with personal, family, career/work related, and behavioral health problems. Provide information and referral and crisis intervention services , as well as consultation and training to supervisors, managers and administrators.

Provided assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for low income clients with behavioral health needs. Specialized in treating borderline personality disorder. Completed 60 hours of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training.
