I'm a U.S. Air Force veteran and Certified Nutrition Specialist who helps people do “Keto Without the Crazy.”™ I write about a wide range of health and nutrition-related topics, such as insulin, weight loss, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, thyroid function, and more. I have presented internationally on these issues and am the author of The Alzheimer's Antidote, The Stall Slayer, and co-author of End Your Carb Confusion (written with Eric Westman, MD). I currently help create online course content related to low-carbohydrate and ketogenic diets and coach people through implementing these ways of eating safely and effectively. I contributed to the curriculum used by the American Nutrition Association to certify other nutrition and medical professionals in the ketogenic diet and am a member of the Exam Development Committee that creates the board exam for Certified Nutrition Specialists.
