Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform sourcing strategies. 6. Risk Management: - Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supply disruptions and geopolitical factors. Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions. 7.Process Improvement: - Continuously improve sourcing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions in the sourcing function. 8.Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on sourcing requirements. 9.Performance Metrics and Reporting: - Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sourcing activities. Prepare and present reports on sourcing performance to senior management. 10.Compliance Sourcing: - Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Promote ethical sourcing practices.

1.Knowledge on supplier identification and Supplier Selection Process and Supplier Assessments for various commodities vendors. 2.Working exposure to manufacturing processes of various engineering commodities (Sheet metal, Machined items, Casting, forging) 3.Hands on exposure to new product development with supplier end. Technical support to vendor for process mapping, machine selection 4.Cost calculations for reference/target cost and negotiations for new components 5.Understanding of cost and drivers and independent cost calculations with minimal support 6.Knowledge about different machines, machines hourly rate, MHR, overheads & Profit etc. 7.Supplier quote analysis and providing comprehensive report / negotiation dossier to Commodity team for Price negotiation discussion with Supplier. 8.Hands on experience of cost mapping for engineering parts & assemblies. Should be able to define best suited manufacturing process, machine selection, cycle time calculations. 9.Drawing reading, good knowledge of GD&T. 10.Working experience of various Sourcing software, SAP and ERP systems.
