• Managing Procurement of Food Packaging Material worth INR 150 crores pa. • Majorly handling packaging material like -Granules i.e. LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE, PP from the Domestic market -i.e. Reliance, ONGC, HMEL authorized distributors, traders & importing granules from Total energies, ExxonMobil, DOW Chemicals, etc., • Monthly buying of kraft & duplex paper directly from the paper mill & distributors, for in-house corrugation plants i.e. for the West & north regions. • Different types of pouches, PP trays, Barrier bags, Aseptic bags, MS Drums, Pallets, Inks, Cartons, stickers, Labels, Leaflets / Inserts, printed laminate rolls/Seal material, Cans, POF Shrink rolls, HDPE Bags, Flexi bags with heating pads, etc. • Guided & authorized the team for a floating RFQ, raised Purchase orders, and prepared MIS reports. • Hands-on importing of the packaging material. • Responsible for purchasing packaging material for PAN India location i.e., 12 plants & following up on the first two orders. • Working closely on cost reduction, cost cost-saving projects on existing as well as new packaging development with the R&D team. • Implementation of Strategic sourcing and material resource planning with the help of market analytics & benchmarking • Presenting monthly, quarterly, & yearly presentations on the total spending, inventory, non-moving items, and various reports to the management. • Regular auditing of the plant purchase & store team for maintaining the documentation, inventory, etc. • If found any defective packaging material during, and after production, ask the supplier for CAPA & RCA, FIR (First investigation report) • Preparing & maintaining the BOM for the existing as well as NPD. • Hands-on SAP -ORACLE, Auction platform SAB-Ariba, Procol systems, etc.

• Handling procurement of Packaging materials worth 90 Crores Rs/- for the Domestic & Export market. • Handling packaging materials like Corrugation/Mono cartons, Stickers/Labels, Decals, LDPE Shrink, POF, EPS, BOPP/transparent tapes, Plastics Containers/Jars (LDPE, HDPE, SAN), Glassware, etc. • Driving various cost savings projects in coordination with R&D • Raising Inquiries, Preparing QCS, Negotiation & Placing orders. • Conversion of P.R.s into P.O.s and releasing the purchase orders to vendors as per share of the business (PO Creation in ERP) • Follow-up with vendors to ensure uninterrupted availability of material for current products by organizing, scheduling & maintaining supplies. • Responsible for new packaging development in response to the given brief, requirements & specifications given by the Marketing & Sales team. • Running trials to check the packaging for suitability, compatibility, and testing for performance under various conditions i.e., bursting strength, ECT, Drop test, WOBB test, BCT, Printability, Toughening, etc. • Developing artwork by coordination with the designing & R&D team, checking the mandatories, claims, and necessary texts for the same. • Maintaining the price list & BOM for existing packaging material as per product.

• Handling procurement of Packaging materials worth Rs. 40 Cr Rs/- for the Domestic & Export market. • To procure the Internal lacquer, Base coat, Over varnish & inks. • Handling packaging materials like Mono cartons, Shippers, Stickers, Labels, LDPE Shrink, and BOPP/transparent tapes. • Ensuring new packaging development materials are delivered on time & compliant with quality and brand standards. • Rate negotiation and finalization. • Responsible for maintaining and improving the packaging of existing products. • Artwork management, Artwork Approvals, Print Proof Approvals & maintaining the specification for a particular job. • Vendor development for packaging materials for new and existing products • Carry out & conduct stability tests, line trials, and transit trials during the development phase of packaging material. • Quality improvement projects and their implementation. • Interacting with Factories, Regional/Central Planning & ensuring the availability of material as per the production plans.

• Planning for Packaging machines & conversion machines under the supervision of a manager. • Handling daily production demands on packaging machines i.e., Lamination, Printing machine, HSL coating on aluminum foil for blister packaging, Extrusion, Blow film, Slitting, etc. • Address the production meeting daily & report to the production manager. • Maintain records for adjustments to ink formulations, proofs, and wet samples • Machine Downtime and Waste Analysis. • Material and Man-Power management • Contributing to the Six Sigma project aiming to increase the Recovery of Flexible Packaging materials.
