Provides support to the Americas Regional Sales Team and the Americas Regional Sales Center by servicing leads (Corporate Transient RFPs and Business Travel Agency Accounts) through the effective execution of the enquiry handling process, steps to conversion, and the preparation of proposals, quotations, and by cross checking product information between hotels for all brands within the IHG. The main focus of this role is to enhance lead conversion thereby driving greater revenue to IHG branded hotels; liaison with internal departments and serving as a liaison with clients and hotels.

Worked as a Service Bureau Coordinator assisting IHG Global Sales and IHG hotels in using the IHG RFP tool. Served as the Subject Matter Expert of the Team responsible in conducting trainings and taking escalation cases from the Phone Team. Answered and managed emails received by the Helpdesk prioritizing all Service Bureau Offerings. Managed the IHG RFP database to make sure all accounts and all users have updated information and/or access to properties, accounts, rate plans, etc. Handled ad-hoc and special projects as deemed necessary by the Management Team. Supported Business Partners in identifying system issues and testing system enhancements. Processed Rate Loading queries, escalation emails, Rate Code error correction and rate loading during RFP off peak season.

Worked as a technical support phone agent assisting both IHG Hotel Users and IHG Global Sales with their RFPs; including but not limited to responding to bids, updating hotel profile, updating account details and managing RFPs, respectively. Served as backup support for the Global Rate Loading Team in processing Rate Loading queries, escalation emails and documentation of cases.
