Amira Alhassan graduated from The New School University with a Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Media Studies from Eugene Lang College. She has a passion for social activism and hopes to create and inspire social change and inclusivity through multimedia advocacy. She currently works for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, the largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the world, as the Associate Director of Creative Media, where she has produced, directed, and edited a variety of projects including PSAs, short documentaries, and event recaps. Amira has previously been a facilitator and participant of the Google Food Innovation Lab - a global collaborative network for leading thinkers and doers in the food space. Amira has also produced content for for-profit companies including High Sierra Lifestyle, CHOC Children's Hospital, and Heather James Fine Art.

I helped to formulate and facilitate the vision and mission of the Food Lab with Google.
