brand representative
hollister co.
I worked to promote sales at the SoHo Hollister location, familiarizing myself with promotions and developing field level marketing tactics to raise the ratio between those who walk in and leave having bought something to those who walk in and leave without purchasing an item. I was tasked to be at the register, where I handled cash and credit card and bagged items in an appropriate speed to shorten lines. I made myself available to stay at work past my shift to assist with stock room duties.

I am personally responsible for moving clients along the loan process pipeline and providing transparency and information to small business owners seeking financing. Over the course of the year, I have been in charge of 9 clients, utilizing in some cases my native Spanish speaking skills to explain our loan rates, loan process, and guide them through the small business loan application.

Promoted to supervisor after two semesters of successfully raising money for the university. In the 2017-2018 year, I raised about $32,000, most going to fund scholarships and student activities on campus. As a supervisor I am in charge of 75 students, coaching and mentoring them on how to persuade alumni to participate in giving back to Georgetown. I am skilled in analyzing and cross analyzing large amounts of data, multitasking between checking call center nightly performance and individual caller coaching, and acting on quick data analysis.

As one of 19 incoming freshmen interns, I conducted research on Deutsche Bank's products and analyzed their investment decisions. I produced a model which included over 80 of DB's product and presented a possible solution to some challenges. During my time, I was tasked to review financial statements for an energy company and familiarized myself with accounting terms to make critical judgements on the company's performance. In addition, I participated in a microfinance competition, where I worked in a team with other interns to develop a business plan for a hypothetical company that would bring social and nutritional value to the South Bronx.
