During my partnership for my bachelor thesis, named "Design, development, and optimization of a deep drilling tool with a partially spiral groove, featuring a detachable head", at Gühring, my main project stages include: a) Designing the tool in NX based on the current geometry with straight channels b) Creating the Numroto program and optimizing the tool in NX to make it grindable c) Grinding the tool according to the Numroto program d) Tool analysis (micro and macro geometry) e) Coating and testing the tool on a CNC machine f) Future developments (geometry, spiral, etc.)
