I spent the first five years of my career focusing on strengthening my accounting skills before finding my passion in Human Resources. My career goal is to apply my skills and knowledge within an educational, financial, hospitality, retail or medical environment. I am proud to say that in July 2025, I joined the RC Global Leader, Horizon Hobby as their Human Resource Generalist! While approaching HR with a realistic and people-focused mindset, I am passionate for recruiting, benefit administration/education, ongoing career advancement, employee engagement and continuous self-education. Whether it be to someone newly entering the workforce, a senior in the workforce or those re-entering the workforce, I believe that clear communication, knowledge sharing and confidence building are the key aspects to helping individuals grow into the professionals they aspire to be. I now use my resources, skills and experience to portray a positive professional image while advocating & educating the employees. I wish to grow more into talent acquisition, benefit administration employee engagement and communicating professional informative, resources. I aim to be the voice of advocacy and encouragement when it comes to professional growth and building a work life balance. Outside of work you can find me in the gym, my yard or with friends and family. I have been a CrossFit member for over 10 years now. Enjoying the heavy lifts and mobility that comes with it. I can keep house plants alive, outside flowers and vegetables not so much. My husband and I are big St Louis Blues fans. He can watch the Minnesota Vikings for hours while I prefer a good murder mystery book or anything Colleen Hoover like. Our German Shepard Ruger is our fur baby and yes, he is absolutely spoiled. Probably more spoiled than our nieces and nephews. I grew up in a small town in Central Illinois which contributes to my desire for a calmer season in life. Truly enjoying life and the career path god has put me on.
