* Ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet. * Ensuring bank reconciliations are completed each month. * Month end reporting to the corporate accounting team in accordance with the published timetable. * Fixed asset reconciliations. * Prepayments and accruals. * Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed each month and demonstration of full understanding of the reasons for reconciling items. * Review of balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of unusual items. * Monthly in-depth review of balance sheet, P&L and direct costs. * Review of 3rd party cost and revenue margins. * Preparations and submission of VAT returns in accordance with local requirements. * Intercompany accounting. * Undertake adhoc duties which may arise e.g. request for data from corporate team/ HR / tax team etc.
