 Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.  Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.  Control purchasing department budgets.  Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.  Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.  Payment terms negotiation, optimization and management  Stock and materials management  Coordinate in resolving Accounts Payable invoice discrepancies and variances.  Supervise on Shipping and Receiving with shipment /transportation related discrepancies and variances.  Analyzes current procurement activities and recommends improvement through more efficient procurement methods, quantity discounts, standardization and value analysis.

 Responsible for purchasing & negotiations with various suppliers (international, local).  Following up on the purchase orders status (shipments, outstanding orders, invoice, delivery, ext….).  Preparing monthly purchase & logistics reports.  Handling imported & exported shipments with its all required paper works & follow up with the forwarders & facing up any problems arisen in the Clearance procedures.  Scheduling the delivery dates of orders according to the production plans.  Issuing L/C in coordination with the bank & Handling the transaction effected under issued L/Cs.  Following up with various shipping & clearance agencies the shipments consents to clear the goods within the expected delivery dates.
