The Art Collaborative is a multidisciplinary group that fosters creative energy from every discipline of art. The focus of this group is to unite the talents of all art-pursuing Northeastern students who wish to create and engage in meaningful forms of artistic expression and learn from other disciplines.

We strive to provide a creative outlet for writers, artists, designers, promoters, radio personalities, and photographers to express themselves and voice their opinions on music.

As a full time intern I do both UI/UX work. I sketch, wireframe and design a variety of features for mobile applications that are being built and shipped in-house at Blade. I have also helped with branding, user testing and the creation of marketing material for these applications.

During my time with Scout I was mainly involved in web-based projects but was able to provide support on print as well. I wireframed, designed and helped code various parts of websites on teams using WordPress, HTML, CSS and PHP. The Scout studio provides an opportunity for Northeastern’s most talented designers to work on real projects, with real clients, and real responsibilities. With this experience and Scout events, workshops, public critiques and mentoring programs, our studio team inspires the next generation of great design at Northeastern. We promote the design thinking process—critique, testing, iteration and implementation—as an effective way to approach problems in any industry.

As a full time Design intern I completed a variety of tasks. In print they ranged from editing and designing fact sheets, business cards, brochures and forms, to creating internal signage for office events. On the web I designed banners and social media assets. I worked with the account team to come up with the best solution based on client feedback. Our clients range from global, Fortune 500 companies to leading research & academic institutions, to professional & patient groups - most of which are at the center of major shifts taking place in health care.

As a full time Web Design Intern and an indepent Contractor, I assisted on a variety of web-based projects ranging from web design and banners. I coded, maintained and customized clients’ website and was also involved in designing business cards and t-shirts. I communicated directly with clients both in person and via email. East Coast Catalyst is a digital strategy consulting firm that works with clients on digital optimization, innovation, and transformation initiatives to grow their businesses. These projects typically involve improving digital marketing programs, employing web technologies, and using digital tools and channels in new ways to be more competitive. Relying on custom methodologies -- which incorporate proprietary methods, empirical analysis, third-party research, user experience, and a multichannel philosophy -- we work with client executives to successfully navigate the complex digital landscape and devise internet strategies that deliver results.

* During time as a Graphic Design Intern I was involved in a variety of projects in the realm of print and web. I did some frontend devlopment, audio/visual work for a video and layout design for invtations and business cards.
