Musica Nuova is dedicated to bringing renewed dramatic life to early music by heightening the theatrical qualities intrinsic to the repertoire. We stage early Baroque songs and instrumental works and present them in the context of a dramatic narrative based on the meanings of the song texts. Our goal is to create a performance that transcends the standard concert experience of early music, providing a narrative framework that provides a context for newcomers and offers a new level of understanding to experienced listeners.

I teach general music to grades Nursery-8, ages 2-14, plus a mixed-age after school ensemble.
