Responsible for the preparation and presentation of performance metrics, summarizing supplier performance through vendor scorecards, used to target poor performing suppliers and associated corrective actions. Formulated and delivered plan for managing high volume direct materials requirements within the restrictions of a tightly controlled and limited sourcing environment. Key Achievements: Established and implemented the functional core Purchasing and Logistics Department. Led & developed a multi-functional team of purchasing, logistics and fleet professionals providing sound guidance and support on complex issues. Analyzed and improved terms on multiple legacy software maintenance agreements through a process of consolidation, including negotiations to minimize the cost of early termination or reduction in preventative maintenance of established legacy agreements, resulting in an overall cost savings of greater than $1M annually. Implemented a directional change in the total supply chain process of cable supply and hardware supporting multiple internal locations yielding an additional savings of >$400K annually. This included managing the transition to the alternative sources and the implementation of VMI.
