Amanda Sellers

As the leader of Asahi Beverages and its Executive Leadership Team, I am a strategically minded, results-driven executive responsible for building and delivering Asahi’s regional growth strategy in alignment with our global ambitions. I oversee approximately 6,000 employees across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast, South and Central Asia and represent the Asia-Pacific region on the Global Asahi Group Executive Team. I am an Asahi Holdings Australia Board Director who passionately believes in building inclusive values-led cultures, mentoring senior leaders, and embedding a positive, future-facing company approach. After serving 4+ years as Asahi Beverage’s Group CFO, I was appointed as Group CEO in 2023 and have since redefined the company’s market ambition and positioning as a multi-beverage business – moving it beyond just beer into non-alcohol, and ready-to-drink (RTD) categories. Our diverse range of non-alcohol beverages – from soft drink to premium coffee, juice and most recently energy drinks – features some of Australia’s most beloved brands. Our significant investment in no and low sugar options is changing how Australians enjoy these drinks. I am a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser and previously worked at Deloitte, before stepping into corporate roles at Pernod Ricard and Foster’s Group. During that time, I played a pivotal role in separating Foster’s wine and beer divisions, creating significant shareholder value. In addition I have held transformation and project roles spanning finance, strategy, and large-scale business integration. Having worked across Asia, Europe and the USA, I’ve managed high profile demergers, corporate acquisitions, business re-organisations and supply chain transformations. I currently hold two non-executive board positions: DrinkWise, which drives responsible drinking education, and Red Cross Lifeblood, as well as serving on Lifeblood’s Finance & Investment Committee.
