Teaching the following classes: Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics, Discourse Analysis, Latin, Brazilian Literature and Latin Literature. I also coordinated the course of Letters during 2010 and 2011 managing tasks, classes and educational projects.

* Working on the following courses: * Letters and Linguistics, teaching Morphology, Introduction to Computational Linguistics and Laboratory in Semantics with emphasis in Text and Discourse; * Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, teaching Scientific writing and skills for reading and writing texts.

* Working on Natural Language Processing for both understanding and generation, specially for Brazilian Portuguese. My tasks include: annotate and review linguistic data * label text for semantic, syntactic and morphological characteristics * annotate lexicon entries according to guidelines * develop guidelines for linguistic annotation * localize texts into Portuguese aiming at specific tasks * create grammatical rules in order to describe Portuguese * derive NLP data for new and on-going projects.

During my internship, I developed researches in formal syntax and the correspondence between syntax and semantics in order to describe the fuzzy boundaries of operator verbs, light verbs, collocations, multi-word expressions etc. One research focused on the automatic detection of proverbs by using finite-state automata. And the other research focused on the automatic extraction of dependency relations between light verbs and predicative nouns and its implementation in STRING, which is a hybrid, statistical and rule-based NLP system for Portuguese. Besides working as researcher in Algarve University, I was also monitor and tutor in Linguistics classes.
