http://www.hifis.ca/index-eng.shtml A cross functional team was established across selected community agencies, the City of Hamilton (CoH) and the Government of Canada (GOC) to build and implement the HIFIS Food Bank module as a pilot project in 11 community agencies in Hamilton, Ontario to serve as a model for rollout across Canada. Each had diverse levels of buy-in, confidence and competency. Reticency to share data was great. Subsequently recognized by Service Canada as the subject matter experts. Highlights: Negotiated Data Sharing Protocol and a Service Level Agreement gaining consensus between 11 community agencies, data center and City of Hamilton. Developed best practices and tools for project execution and management; authored and published the HIFIS Logic Model; a Framework for Implementation (a Government of Canada deliverable).

* Human Services I&IT Cluster: * Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Ministry of Community & Social Services * Scope – 20,000 desktops, enterprise licensing, servers. Direct reports – 9. * Responsibilities: * Preparation of RFPs and Merx postings * Accountable for the orchestration and documentation of competitions for vendor contract awards and renewals for all data equipment * Development and maintenance of Service Level Agreements for internal ministry groups and external vendors * Liaison to Management Board Secretariat regarding budgetary requirements; securance of funds in accordance with House of Commons process and timelines * Review and approval of all business cases * Highlight: * Expedited a RFP competitive government process in a highly pressurized situation with minimal tools, saving the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) $1M; 3 weeks from start to completion while office was under physical construction. Contract was awarded 2 minutes before deadline closed.

New regulatory mandatory submission of dollar value to validate trading activity on a daily basis. Direct reports – 8. Highlights: Managed test team for software that was developed for use on Doonesbury terminals on the trading floor. Y2K compliancy ready state in the division was achieved 2 months ahead of schedule.

National New Site Development Project - 1000 cellular tower build Production management system tracking and management of performance projections and milestones for a national 1000 site cellular tower build. Leasing agreement facilitation for associated sites as required. Direct reports – 5. Highlights: Implemented physical changes to LANs at reporting sites across Canada to accommodate timely and accurate data transfers. Designed and implemented a new reporting system (Production Management System - PMS) when the contract ran out on the current application.

* Project management team encompassing procurement, change management and off shore resources to build and implement last mile high availability, high security wireless solutions in underserved markets and remote areas. Portfolio contains 5 programs. Transparent ethernet solution technology. * Highlights * Advanced PMO from PMM1 (Project Management Maturity Level) to PMM3 in year one. * Implemented weekly change management board and change management rigor. * Integrated program areas by leading process mapping of existing services and signoff by service owners. * Implemented portfolio financial controls, SOX compliance procedures and financial reporting. * Successful delivery of 78% of PMO portfolio in 67% of 2014 (May-Dec). * Shortened quote to realized revenue cycle by relocating design phase from post-sale to * pre- sale; resulting in sanity check for sales quotes and precipitated change in culture to * encourage all team members to focus on TCV (total contract value). * Transformed projectized PMO to business delivery unit.
