I worked as nursing assistant provided care to residents in assisted living and in the Alzheimers unit. I also subbed as an activities assistant when needed and helped with events at the facility until I moved away to St Petersburg. I have references from the Director of Nursing and the Activities Director about my professionalism and dedication to helping others.

I work with 16 children who have developmental disabilites in their home providing direct care, teaching them new daily living skills such as how to eat, how to clean, how to brush their teeth and communicate via signing or speech devices. We take the children out in the community to parks and events to foster community inclusion and teach social skills.

I manage an adult day training center with 45 individuals who have mild to profound developmental disabilities. I am responsible for all day to day operations which includes: managing a staff of over 20 employees daily that rotates, planning activities, ensure services are being provided, meeting with families, working with support coordinators, networking with the community, writing and implementing Individual plans for 21 clients with appropriate teaching strategies, billing for services, ensuring policies and procendures are being followed and ensuring we are meeting all state requirements.
