I execute DNA extraction, DNA amplification, the loading of samples on robotics, and extended testing as required. I am proficient in the use of robotic systems and related software for Biomek 2000, Biomek FX, GeneAmp PCR system 9700, and Genetic Analyzers 3130 and 3730. I prepare solutions for laboratory use and held accountable for quality assurance/quality control. I maintain all applicable laboratory logs including; chemical inventory, daily workload, daily and monthly equipment maintenance and calibrations. I also organize sample information for Data department and PhD to review and evaluate test results reported to clientele.

I was held accountable for a crew of 10 employees and our team performance. I trained new employees and executed customer satisfaction principles. I was responsible for the cash drawer and maintaining acceptable labor percentages. During the down time of business, I delegated cleaning tasks to maintain the upkeep of the store.
