Aman Chawla

Aman is presently Immigration Program Officer at Government of New Brunswick, Canada. Prior to this, he worked as a HR Project Lead at the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer in Finance & Treasury Board of Government of New Brunswick, Workforce Development Specialist at Ignite, a leading regional economic development agency, based in Fredericton, NB, Canada. In this role, he was responsible for centralized coordination, seamless formulation, development & implementation of workforce development strategy through job creation through workforce-related events and running the Connector Program. He also worked at BMO as a Personal Banking Associate for a brief. Before moving to Canada, Aman served as a Commissioned Officer in the Indian Navy for 13.5 years, posted at all commands, where he was fortunate to lead a combative operational team on an amphibious warship. A result-oriented Navy veteran possessing extensive cross-functional experience in the fields of administration, project management, HRM & capacity building. Possess expertise in team building, critical thinking, problem-solving capability, communication & negotiation. An alumni of Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) & Indian Naval Academy. In 2022, Aman received commendation for devotion to duty by Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command. Aman has spoken at Workforce Conferences & has presented in cities like Montreal, Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton & even at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A). An avid traveler, Aman has explored 12 countries & is counting.
