This full-time work placement within the Press Office provided the following opportunities: • Involvement in the preparation of press events, such as Vogue Fashion’s Night Out • Learn how software is used within a business environment • Improve time and work load management • Gain project management skills • Further my knowledge of fashion and home ware brands • Work within an office environment

Employed for the re-launch of BIBA at House of Fraser's flagship store, my knowledge of retail expanded further as I: • Formed part of a dedicated team • Increased my awareness of company values and products • Learnt about security and stock protection • Attended training sessions regarding customers’ needs and staff responsibility • Worked across various departments, including Label Lab and Pied a Terre, within both Womenswear and Menswear • Utilised the company’s multi-channel resources, including their online catalogue, to help customers • Regularly achieved my individual sales targets

My experience in a restaurant, as well as being immersed in the French culture, taught me: • How to manage my time effectively in pressurised conditions • How to overcome any challenge in communicating with customers & colleagues • To strive to provide the best quality product possible • To remain focused on the aims and objectives of the business
