This is a new position that I have accepted and will be starting there on June 29, 2009

* Managed 10 to 11 employees * Screened, hired and managed employee issues * Created the weekly staff schedule * Lowered labor costs by $600 per week using process improvements and shift changes * Monitored weekly inventory levels of food, liquor, beer, and general business supplies * Decreased inventory by 20% while still maintaining the same customer satisfaction levels * Purchased food, liquor, beer, and general business supplies from 8 different vendors * Performed accounts payable activities through Quickbooks * Handled weekly payroll for all employees * Filed appropriate reports for quarterly state and federal tax and unemployment payments * Managed and filed monthly sales and use tax payments * Performed general maintenance of the restaurant and bar * Created marketing tools such as local advertisements, flyers, and apparel to increase sales * Handled customer relations and listened to the demands of the customer

* Provided consumer driven prompt, accurate and friendly customer service responsed to requests for information about an array of topics and for access to long term care resources * Collected consumer information and assessed consumers/families needs in order to provide information and assistance over the phone, in office, or at home that best met the needs/demands of the consumer's schedule * Provided follow up as needed to determine outcomes and provided additional assistance in locating resources and arranging services * Developed and implemented action plans, short term, to organize and direct in-home supportive services for individuals with a limited support network according the ADRC policy * Assisted in the identification of individualized, cost-effective, outcome oriented service options that reflected goals that are personally meaningful and attainable by consumers and addressed immediate as well as long term needs * Administered the Long Term Care Functional Screen to determine functional eligibility * Participated in prevention activities

Direct rehabilitation staff of 15+ on working toward achieving the goals of each member. Members who we serve have developmental disabilities and/or mental illnesses. Work with some members toward obtaining community employment. Plan, implement, and execute extensive billing procedures for all members in family care, IRIS, and county funded. Direct the community jobs program toward providing progressive services in assisting each member to obtain employment in the community setting. Work with members on developing the life skills needed to be successful within the work setting as well as social settings.

Finding jobs for people with disabilities in the community. Connecting people with disabilities to volunteer opportunities in the community as well as assisting them in making friendships and becoming independent.
